Simon, a Wales native, is a former professional soccer player and accomplished manager with extensive experience in both playing and coaching. He began his playing career as a midfielder with Swansea City and later played for clubs such as Carlisle United and Preston North End, making over 300 professional appearances.

Davey managed Barnsley FC, where he led the team to a memorable FA Cup semi-final appearance in 2008, defeating Liverpool and Chelsea along the way. He has also managed other clubs, including Darlington and Hereford United, and worked on youth development programs. Simon serves as SSA Swarm FC's Executive Director and the USL General Manager and Sporting Director. He holds the UEFA Pro License.
