Team Registration
Team captains must fill out the team roster which is available to the right side of this page and e-mail it to cdane@ssaelite.com. Each player must also register and pay through the website. Any team that wants to participate must turn in their team form by Tuesday, February 25th, 2025.
Individual Registration
Please register and we will place you on a house team or existing team that needs additional players. Individual players will be assigned approximately a week after the individual registration deadline. All registrations must be received by February 25th. (Note: First game will be scheduled for Wednesday, March 5th). We will accept individual registrations until March 5th based on availability.
Minimum Age Requirement: Players must be age 25 by the end of the calendar year.
Roster Size and Composition: Minimum of 12 players and a maximum of 15 players.
Game Venues
Whitlock Park and Central Park.
Fall Season
Season begins in early September and ends in early-mid November. Games take place primarily on Wednesday evenings with some Friday evening games. Games do not start before 7:00 PM. Rainouts will take place on open Friday evenings. Game dates subject to change at discretion of the league.
Spring Season
Season begins in late February/early March and ends in early-mid May. Games take place primarily on Wednesday evenings with some Friday evening games. Games do not start before 7:00 PM. Rainouts will take place on open Friday evenings. Game dates subject to change at discretion of the league.
Forfeit Bond
Teams will deposit a $150 Forfeit Bond that will be refunded at the end of the season if their team has zero forfeits.

The SSA Swarm FC Coweta Adult Soccer League operates as part of a youth soccer club committed to fostering a safe, family-friendly environment that aligns with our organization’s core values. As a league participant, you are representing a club that prioritizes respect, sportsmanship, and community.
Behavior contrary to these principles, including but not limited to unsportsmanlike conduct, abusive language, or actions that compromise the safety and integrity of the league, will not be tolerated. Participants found guilty of such behavior will be subject to immediate removal from the league. Additionally, repeated offenses by a team may result in the team forfeiting their right to participate for the remainder of the season.
We thank you for your cooperation in upholding these standards and ensuring a positive experience for all involved. Together, we can maintain an environment that reflects the values and mission of SSA Swarm FC.
Additional details
Each player receives Secondary Medical Insurance if injured during games.
USSF Licensed referees for each game.
A guarantee of 8 games.
Cost is only $120/player.
Teams will select their home jersey colors. Players can wear any shirt so long as it is the primary color of the selected home team color. Away teams will wear white shirts. Players are responsible for obtaining their own game jerseys.

All games shall be played in accordance with the FIFA Laws of the Game except as specifically modified by the following rules.
ROSTERS
Roster Size: Minimum of 12 players and a maximum of 15 players.
Minimum Age Requirement: Players must be age 25 by the end of the calendar year.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS ON FIELD
• Number of players on the field for each team: 7
• Minimum number of players on the field for each team: 5
• Teams play 7v7 on a youth sized 9v9 field.
LENGTH OF GAME
Length of Half – 30 Minutes
Halftime – 5 Minutes
SCORING
All goals count as 1.
POINT SYSTEM - STANDINGS
Win: 3 Points
Tie: 1 Point
Loss: 0 Points
Forfeit Loss: -2 Points
SPECTATORS
No spectators behind the goals or on the players' sideline. Any spectators behind the goals or on the players' sideline will result in a forfeit.
SLIDING/SLIDE TACKLING
There is NO SLIDE TACKLING (this is any player).
There is NO SLIDING unless you are a keeper making a play in his or her penalty area.
RESULT: Direct free kick from the spot of the infraction.
PUNTING/GOAL KICKS/PENALTY AREA
Goalkeepers shall not punt nor drop kick the ball. RESULT: Indirect free kick from the spot of the infraction.
• Goalkeepers cannot play any ball over the midfield line, when within the penalty area, without first touching a player or the ground. RESULT: Indirect free kick at midfield for the opposing team where the ball crossed the midfield line.
• No goal kick can cross over the midfield line without touching a player or the ground first. RESULT: Indirect free kick at midfield for the opposing team where the ball crossed the midfield line.
• All touches from the defensive team must clear the penalty area and be touched once outside of the penalty area before crossing the midfield line. RESULT: Indirect free kick at midfield for the opposing team where the ball crossed the midfield line.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Unlimited substitutions may be made, with the referee’s consent, on any stoppage of play.
CAUTIONS/EJECTIONS
If a player receives a caution, they are subject to a 5-minute cooling off period and can only return to the field at the referee’s confirmation of this time period elapsing.
EXCEPTION: The Goalkeeper doesn't have to come off the field.
Once a player receives three yellow cards in the regular season, the player automatically receives a one game suspension.
Players who receive a red card are automatically suspended from their team’s next game.
Players sent off for fighting will face a suspension at a length determined by the discipline committee.
TIE-BREAKING PROCEDURES
Note that the order of the tie breaking rules is important. If the first rule can determine a winner, then the process is over. If the first fails, then the second is used and so on until a winner is determined.
1. Results of head-to-head competition within the group (if only two teams are involved).
2. Greater Goal Difference, with a maximum of +4 and a minimum of -4 for any one game.
3. Least number of goals allowed.
4. Penalty Shootout prior to next round’s game.
PLAYOFF TIEBREAKERS
This procedure is used only for the playoffs. If a playoff match ends in a tie, the teams will be given a five-minute intermission.
1. Game will continue with two full five-minute overtime periods (i.e. no Golden Goal).
2. After the first five-minute overtime period, teams will switch ends of the field and kick-off after a two-minute break. Substitutions may be made.
3. If the game is still tied after two overtime periods are completed, the FIFA kicks from the mark procedure will be used to determine a winner.
PLAYERS’ UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT
In general, Law IV of FIFA laws apply.
1. No metal spikes.
2. Uniforms: Home team will wear their designated jersey color and dark socks. Away team will wear white jerseys and white socks.
3. Goalkeeper’s shirt shall be easily distinguishable from all other players and referee(s).
4. No plastic or metal jewelry of any kind (excluding protective eyeglasses) may be worn.
5. Shin guards are required for all players.
6. Players wearing casts are permitted to play only in the event the referee deems the cast to be safe.
7. Teams are subject to point deductions and other consequences in the event their players are not properly equipped.
GENERAL/PROTESTS
1. All judgment decisions of the referee are final and binding.
2. League Director reserves the right to decide on all matters pertaining to the league and its judgment is final.
3. No protests are allowed.
